Biography
Ace Troubleshooter, the emo-pop outfit, first surfaced at the start of 2000 and delivered an energetic style uniquely their own. Formed by longtime companions Isaac Deaton, John Warne, Josh Abbott, and Ben Dewey, the band drew inspiration from Rancid, Green Day, Sunny Day Real Estate, and Weezer. Their self-titled debut album came out in October 2000, prompting the group to perform more than 200 concerts in its promotion. Appearances with MxPx, Five Iron Frenzy, and Thousand Foot Crutch helped cultivate a modest audience. Two years afterward Ace Troubleshooter issued The Madness of the Crowds, their debut release on Tooth & Nail.
