Biography
Detroit, Michigan, served as the birthplace for the Insyderz when Joe Yerke and his associate Nate Sjogren identified an opening in the Christian ska landscape during 1995. Their goal centered on spreading the gospel of Christ through superior rock and roll performances. As a six-piece ska outfit, they issued Motor City Ska that same year, earning widespread praise from critics. Skalleluia followed and brought the group a Dove Award for the track “Awesome God.” By 1998 the Insyderz joined the Christian label Provident, laying down Fight of My Life under the KMG records banner.
