Biography
Having built reputations as leading DJs in Ireland, Chris Agnelli and Robbie Nelson rose to prominence as a production duo once their initial track “El Niño” turned into a major Ibiza anthem during the summer of 1998. Played extensively by elite trance DJs and included on acclaimed releases like Paul Oakenfold’s Tranceport, the single provided the basis for their new path in production. Moving in a more melodic vein with their follow-up single “Everyday,” they secured a number 17 peak on the U.K. charts, while the third single “Embrace” performed comparably by reaching position 29. Late in 2000 saw the release of their debut album Hudson Street, on which the duo experimented with numerous styles apart from the typical progressive trance anthem structure.
