Biography

Alexa Anastasia was born in Switzerland and later based herself in Los Angeles, California, where she worked as a vocalist. Paul Sabu, recognized for his contributions to Only Child and his own projects under the name Sabu, discovered her and went on to produce her debut album. That record fused hard rock overtures with pop hooks and drew comparisons to Lita Ford and Lee Aaron, though sales remained too modest to generate wider attention. MTM Records reissued the album in 2006.
