Biography
Hailing from Chihuahua, Mexico, where she had been both a fashion-model student and a beauty-contest favorite, Aracely Arámbula, born Aracely Arámbula Jaquez, took acting classes before landing parts in popular Latin telenovelas such as Cañaveral de Pasiones, Abrázame Muy Fuerte, and Soñadoras.
Aracely Arámbula entered Latin music with the song “Blah Blah Blah,” which appeared on the Abrázame Muy Fuerte soundtrack. She also contributed to a tribute album for Francisco Gabilondo Soler, widely recognized as Cri-Cri. In March 2002 Disa Latin Music contracted her to record her first full-length onda grupera album, Solo Tuya, which contained the hit single “Te Quiero Igual o Mas Que Ayer” performed with Palomo.
