Biography
Florida post-grunge band Atom Smash specializes in high-intensity hard rock driven by the commanding voice of Sergio Sanchez. Sanchez first teamed with songwriter and producer Paul Trust in 2006 to develop new songs. By 2008 the roster had grown with the addition of Austrian guitarist Alex "Z" Zilinksi and drummer Mark "Taco" Annino. Bassist Arnold Nese and guitarist Luke Rice completed the lineup shortly afterward, prompting Atom Smash to spend most of 2009 on the road for more than 200 performances. The group later secured a contract with Jive and issued its first album, Love Is in the Missile, in August 2010.
