B5, the sibling act on Bad Boy better known as Breeding 5 in deliberate nod to the Jackson 5, originally performed as TNT Boyz until the youngest brother Bryan came aboard and prompted the rename. Carnell, Dustin, Kelly, and Patrick captured multiple talent-show victories across the late 1990s and early 2000s, sharpening an exuberant stage presence that soon drew notice from several major-label executives. P. Diddy ultimately signed the quintet to his imprint and assembled an array of established producers for their first full-length project. That self-titled debut album climbed to number 19 on the Billboard album chart, setting the stage for the follow-up, Don't Talk, Just Listen, slated to arrive in September 2007.
