Brooke Valentine

Déjà, the producer responsible for guiding Brooke Valentine, first positioned the singer in Best Kept Secret, a short-lived late-'90s ensemble. Once that project dissolved, the pair left Houston for Los Angeles in pursuit of a solo recording contract. A couple of years later Valentine signed with Virgin, and her debut album Chain Letter—produced in part by Lil Jon, Bloodshy, Heatmakerz, and the Soul Diggas—appeared in February of 2005.
