Biography
Hailing from South Central Los Angeles, the hip-hop soul trio Before Dark comprised vocalists and dancers Mia, Jeni, and Arike. The group issued the singles "Baby" and "Come Correct" in 1999, which secured them a spot on Soul Train. Those tracks reached the public well ahead of the trio's debut album, Daydreamin', an effort held back by repeated postponements until its release in the summer of 2000.
