Big Kuntry King

Emerging from Atlanta's rap scene, Big Kuntry King operated as both a protégé of T.I. and a member of the crew P$C, initially chasing hip-hop recognition by peddling mixtapes from the trunk of his car. His first notable exposure arrived through a guest appearance on T.I.'s 2001 album I'm Serious, after which he accumulated further guest spots before linking with P$C on the 2005 release 25 to Life. His shift to a solo path began in 2008, when the major-label affiliate Atlantic issued the album My Turn to Eat.
