Biography
Formed in Limerick during 2008, the Irish experimental rock outfit Bleeding Heart Pigeons consists of singer and guitarist Mícheál Keating, keyboardist and sampler Cathal Histon, and drummer Brendan McInerney. Their sound revolves around sturdy, tuneful guitar-and-synth arrangements that avoid simple structures. Early recordings secured a contract with Virgin Records in 2013, prompting the label to issue the band’s first EP, In a Room, in Littleton, Colorado, the next year. A Hallucination appeared in mid-2015, followed later that year by the EP Anything You Want. The group planned to deliver its first full-length album, Is, in early 2016.
