Biography
Brandon Jenkins, a singer and songwriter rooted in Oklahoma, spent years performing across his home state and its surroundings, methodically building an audience for his grounded, unpretentious take on country music. The 1998 release of his album Ghost of Jesse James came through Remorseless Records. Exposure arrived when one of his tracks landed on the Country West of Nashville compilation assembled by Peter Anderson, an inclusion that earned him an Emerging Artists in Music Award. Jenkins followed with the 2001 live recording Live at the Blue Door. He maintains an active touring schedule and has shared bills with Willie Nelson, David Allen Coe, the Mavericks, and Kevin Welch, among others.
