Biography
Christian Smith and John Selway stand out among the strongest production teams working in house and trance-infused techno toward the close of the 1990s. Hailing respectively from Stockholm, Sweden, and New York, the pair overcame physical separation to sustain their partnership, which yielded striking EPs such as Downunder on Primate and Metropolitan on In-Tec. Their track "Move!" also earned backing from populist trance DJs such as Sasha and Dave Ralph, together with the wider techno and hard house scenes, underscoring the broad reach of the duo’s singular sound.
