Biography
Born on April 29, 1991, in Shreveport, Louisiana, pop singer and multi-instrumentalist Cole Vosbury grew up in a household steeped in music, with his grandmother, country singer Juanita Morris Zahn, known professionally as Little Miss Nita Lynn, and his father, Robin Vosbury, along with his uncle, Keith Vosbury, both recognized as prominent Louisiana musicians. He launched his stage career at age three by performing in nursing homes and, by five, was already delivering vocals in churches across Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas. During these formative years he mastered guitar, drums, bass, and piano. His major opportunity arrived in 2013 as a contestant on the fifth season of NBC’s The Voice, where his command of multiple instruments and knack for blending any material with a distinctive sweet country funkiness quickly endeared him to viewers. Though he did not claim the overall title, Vosbury advanced to the semifinals, and six singles drawn from his appearances on the program entered the Billboard download chart, establishing a solid foundation for his professional trajectory.
