Conditions

Conditions came together toward the end of 2006, drawing members from the remnants of multiple Virginia emo outfits such as Race the Sun, Motion Picture Demise, and Scarlet. After establishing themselves in Richmond, the group traveled to Baltimore several months later to lay down early recordings under producer Paul Leavitt. Exposure at the 2007 Bamboozle Festival, followed by a run on that summer’s Vans Warped Tour, quickly raised their visibility. Vocalist Brandon Roundtree, drummer Ryan Tinsley, and guitarists Jason Marshall and Alex Howard then maintained a rigorous touring schedule throughout the next year, highlighted by European dates supporting Paramore.
