Biography
There for Tomorrow, a pop-punk quartet from Orlando, FL, came together in 2003 while its members were still teenagers ranging from early to middle adolescence. Childhood friends Maika Maile on lead vocals, rhythm guitar, and programming, Christian Climer on lead guitar and vocals, Jay Enriquez on bass and vocals, and Chris Kamrada on drums and samples drew immediate inspiration from Jimmy Eat World, blink-182, Third Eye Blind, and the Hives. The group quickly moved into local radio station showcase concerts, which secured them spots on the southeastern portion of the Vans Warped Tour for both 2006 and 2007. Their 2007 self-released EP Pages caught the ear of indie label Hopeless Records, prompting the band to remix and re-record its material with producer James Paul Wisner, known for his work with Underoath and Paramore, resulting in the self-titled 2008 EP that introduced the lead single "No More Room to Breathe." The track "Pages" was also included on the 2008 edition of the Vans Warped Tour compilation double CD issued by Side One Dummy Records.
