Originating from Kentucky instead of Texas, Dallas Remington channels a country girl's pride through her distinctive interpretations of rural musical heritage. Her songs center on family and liberty, the latter supplying the name for her debut EP issued in 2018, while she incorporates rock and pop elements that gained prominence when she issued a cover of Adele's "Hello" as her inaugural single in 2015.

She began performing during childhood, gaining experience at nearby churches, fairs, and festivals while concentrating on gospel material. The North American Country and Gospel Music Association International recognized her with Entertainer of the Year for ages 13-17 in 2017; one year later she received the same organization's Female Vocalist of the Year award for ages 18-21. Prior to those honors she had already ventured into non-religious material by releasing a countrified version of Adele's "Hello" as her first digital single in 2015.

She committed fully to country sounds with the 2017 release "Found Her Freedom," which served as the centerpiece of her 2018 mini-LP Freedom that also included the single "Never Turned Around." The playful "Huntin' Season" followed in 2019, and in 2020 she delivered "Uncommon Man," her tribute to working-class individuals.
