Biography
Born in New York, DJ and remixer David Waxman launched his professional career with a 1992 appearance at Roxy. Two years afterward, the progressive house trailblazer emerged as one of the most in-demand selectors throughout the Miami Beach region. During that period he also locked in a weekend residency at a leading South Florida nightclub.
David Waxman has delivered remixes of Beck's "New Pollution," Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust," Nine Inch Nails' "Closer to God," and assorted additional worldwide hits. He further issued the 1997 club and dance single "English 101 (Can You Understand English?)" as Afrowax, assembled the Ultra Chilled series for Ultra Records, and produced the 2002 mix album Welcome to New York.
