Dawn of Disease

Originally established in 2003 as a German heavy metal outfit devoted to lethal melodic death metal propelled by double blastbeats and steeped in Gothenburg scene influences, Dawn of Disease managed several high-profile performances yet folded in 2007 after issuing only a lone single. The project returned in renewed form during 2009 when co-founder Tomasz assembled a fresh roster featuring Lukas and Oliver on guitar plus a pair of Christians handling bass and drums, underscoring the group’s minimal regard for surnames. Their first official album, Legends of Brutality, arrived in 2010, after which the band secured a contract with NoiseArt Records the next year. Crypts of the Unrotten followed in 2012 and earned favorable notices, while 2016 saw the release of their much-anticipated third studio long-player, Worship the Grave, this time via Napalm Records.
