Biography
Hailing from Buffalo, the indie emo outfit Del Paxton drew their moniker from a fictional jazz pianist featured in the 1996 movie That Thing You Do!. Comprising vocalist and guitarist Dylan England along with vocalist and bassist Zach Schoedel plus drummer Greg McClure, this power trio consisted of seasoned musicians from prior groups upon assembling in 2013 and issuing their first EP, Worst. Summer. Ever., on their own shortly afterward. That EP's positive reception secured them a place with Topshelf, leading to a collaborative split EP alongside Montreal's Gulfer in 2015. The next year was devoted to finishing their initial album, All Day, Every Night, All Night, which Topshelf put out at the start of 2017.
