Biography
Originating from Mexico, singer and actor Eduardo Capetillo, born Eduardo Capetillo Vásquez, launched his musical path as a participant in the children’s group Timbiriche that also featured Thalia and Paulina Rubio. By 1989 he chose to pursue a solo direction. Following the release of an EP drawn from the telenovela Alcanzar Una Estrella, he completed his first full-length project, Dame Una Noche. The ballad-driven albums Aqui Estoy and Piel Ajena appeared in 1994 and 1995. Chacho Gaytan helmed the self-titled 2002 album that contained the hit single “El Secreto.”
