In the early 1990s, local producer Miguel Blasco assembled the Mexican Latin pop duet Sentidos Opuestos. Alessandra Rosaldo began performing vocals at age twelve and soon served as a backup singer for Latin star Lucero. After Chacho Gaytán joined the lineup, the duo issued its self-titled debut album in 1993, which sent the tracks "Historias De Amor" and "Escribeme En El Cielo" up the domestic charts. The following year Sentidos Opuestos cut Al Sol Que Mas Calienta before relocating to Barcelona, Spain, where Eduardo Posada produced the 1996 release Viviendo Del Futuro. Following the 1998 appearance of Viento A Favor, Chacho Gaytán took up duties as a producer and arranger while Alessandra Rosaldo launched her acting career in the soap opera Sueños de Juventud. Sentidos Opuestos resurfaced in 2000 with Movimiento Perpetuo.
