OV7, the teen pop sensation once called La Onda Vaselina, launched its recording career with the Sony Discos release CD00. After beginning as a children’s act in the late ’80s and establishing itself as a leading act on the Latin pop circuit throughout the ’90s, the Mexican seven-piece vocal group stepped into the new millennium under its revised name and with a refreshed public image. Recorded by Loris Ceroni in Bologna, Italy, the album CD00 contained the hit single “Enloqueceme.”
