Biography
Emerging in a vein akin to Lorde and Låpsley, U.K. electro-pop artist Elle Watson crafts dark, melancholy tracks steeped in R&B and centered on themes of love, loss, and yearning. Her entry into the music world came via a signing to Wolf Tone, the label founded by acclaimed producer Paul Epworth, whose past collaborators include Adele and Rihanna. She then began crafting her debut EP under the guidance of Clams Casino, known for his work with A$AP Rocky and Vince Staples. The resulting project, Phantom, surfaced in 2016, paving the way for the subsequent singles “Glued” in 2017 and “Suspended” in 2018.
