Biography
Enterprise Earth took their moniker from an intersection of Illuminati lore and assorted conspiracy narratives, forming in 2014 as a punishing technical deathcore unit led by former Infant Annihilator vocalist Dan Watson and ex-Takeover guitarist BJ Sampson. The group quickly ascended within the deathcore community on the strength of Embodiment and Luciferous, two punitive and critically praised albums issued in 2017 and 2019. Following Sampson’s exit in 2019 and Watson’s departure in 2022, the band opened a fresh phase by unveiling Death: An Anthology in 2024 fronted by new singer Travis Worland.
Operating from Spokane, Washington, Enterprise Earth delivered their initial EP, XXIII, soon after establishment. A 2015 agreement with Stay Sick Recordings, the imprint founded by Attila’s Chris Fronzak, paved the way for their first full-length studio album, Patient 0. That release featured contributions from Rings of Saturn guitarist Joel Omans and Oceano vocalist Adam Warren, ultimately peaking at number five on Billboard’s Heatseekers/Top New Artist Chart. The band maintained an intensive touring schedule for the subsequent two years before returning to the studio for their second album. Embodiment surfaced in early 2017 and climbed to number six on the Heatseekers chart. In December 2018 they issued the standalone single “He Exists,” paving the way for Luciferous, which arrived in April 2019 and earned spots on multiple year-end rankings. After the unexpected 2020 EP Foundation of Bones, the musicians reconvened to craft their fourth album. The Chosen, released in 2022, presented a confident and unyielding deathcore collection that incorporated noticeably more melodic passages than earlier works. Watson departed soon afterward, clearing the path for Travis Worland’s studio introduction on the punishing 2024 album Death: An Anthology.
