Signs of the Swarm

Signs of the Swarm came together in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania during 2014, uniting vocalist CJ McCreery, drummer Bobby Crow, guitarists Cory Smarsh and Jacob Toy, and bassist Collin Barker around a brutal death metal vision that merged hardcore and slam death metal. Their independently issued debut album, Senseless Order, surfaced in 2016 and attracted the interest of Unique Leader Records, resulting in the 2017 follow-up Disfigurement of Existence—the band’s first release on the label and the initial studio appearance of replacement drummer Jimmy Pino. Vocalist CJ McCreery exited amicably prior to the third album, which appeared in 2019 as Vital Deprivation and introduced new singer Dave Simonich.
