Evaline

Formed amid the summer of 2001 in Turlock, California, the emo-rock ensemble Evaline first operated under the name Holiday. Its opening EP, To Whomever May Still Be Concerned, surfaced in fall 2003. The following year the group adopted the Evaline moniker, its five members consisting of Richard-Jonathan Perry on vocals and keys, guitarists Christian Lewis and Dominic DiCiano, drummer Steven Forrest, and Steven Pederson on bass and synth. Their material soon reached the Used’s Quinn Allman, leading the band to travel to Salt Lake City to cut its subsequent recording under his production. The resulting EP, Postpartum Modesty -- A Portrait of Skin, emerged in July 2006 on Maverick and presented an expansive exhibition of rock theatrics. That summer was devoted to the complete Warped Tour.
