Biography
In the mid-2010s Anna Nordeen and Reni Lane launched Fever High in Brooklyn, enlisting Adam Schlesinger to handle production duties out of the spotlight. Bound by shared tastes in upbeat pop, paired voices, and analog synths, the trio looked to Bananarama and Scritti Politti for guidance. Their first release, the All Work EP, surfaced in 2015 and was later picked up by Sire Records for a 2016 reissue. After opening for Book of Love on that act’s 30th-anniversary tour, Fever High delivered the album FHNY in fall 2017, highlighted by a spoken cameo from actor Jeff Goldblum. The glittery single “Avec You” marked their return in early 2019.
