FOXTROTT

Montreal's Foxtrott serves as the professional alias for experimental indie-electronic pop singer/songwriter and producer Marie-Hélène L. Delorme. Born and raised in Montreal, she concentrated on violin and piano throughout her childhood. An assortment of reggae, hip-hop, and electronic sounds later inspired her to produce remixes that she issued herself under the handle MHMHMH. She subsequently redirected those abilities into composing and performing original material as Foxtrott. Her first EP, Shields, benefited from mixing by Damian Taylor (Björk, the Killers, Arcade Fire), which attracted positive notice and secured higher-profile concerts in Canada and the U.K. In 2015 Foxtrott followed with the full-length studio album A Taller Us, spotlighting the songs "Driven" and "Shaky Hands."
