Biography
Francine Lehmann, who performs as the multi-styled pop singer Francine Jordi, entered the world in Worb, Switzerland, on June 24, 1977. Victory at the German Grand Prix der Volksmusik in 1998 delivered her initial breakthrough. She reached a wider European audience in 2002 by representing Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest. Across her career she issued nine albums, one of which, the 2007 release Dann Kamst Du, reached the top thirty. That same year marked her first appearance on the operatic stage.
