Gers Pardoel

Gers Pardoel emerged as one of the brightest prospects in the Dutch urban landscape after an early focus on roller-skating gave way to hip-hop through the influence of friends MC Postman and his then wife Anouk. New Kids director Steffen Haars, upon recognizing his rap abilities, selected him to join the Opposites and Sef on “Broodje Bakpao,” the hit single tied to the comedy group’s feature film New Kids Turbo. While working with the Partysquad on “Ik Ga Hard” and Guus Meeuwis on “Nergens Zonder Jou,” he issued his first full-length project, Deze Wereld Is Van Jou, in 2011.
