Biography
Formed in 1992, the Norwegian black metal outfit Hades Almighty originated with Janto Garmanslund on vocals, bass, and keyboards, Jørn Inge Tunsberg on guitar and keyboards, Stig Hagenes on guitar, and Remi on drums. The band has issued a succession of independent recordings that explore the style's rawest, most gothic and primordial impulses, among them 1994's ...Again Shall Be, 1996's Alone Walkyng EP, 1997's The Dawn of the Dying Sun, 1999's Millenium Nocturne, and 2001's The Pulse of Decay, the latter cut after Hagenes had recently exited the lineup.
