Hide The Knives

Established in 2007 in Gothenburg, Sweden, while maintaining connections to Chicago, IL, the post-grunge alternative rock group Hide the Knives consists of Glen Gilbert on vocals, Martin Johansen on guitar, Magnus Persson on bass, and Ola Lindström on drums. Drawing primary influence from American alternative rock acts such as Queens of the Stone Age, Nirvana, and Tool, the band issued its first recording in 2008 with the single "Honey." The full-length album Savior for Sale followed in 2009 on the Gain Music Entertainment label, becoming a Top Ten hit on the Swedish albums chart and generating the singles "Holy Banner" and "Savior for Sale" in addition to "Honey."
