Biography
Isyss is an all-female hip-hop quartet whose acronym expands to Intelligent Sexy Young Soul Sisters. Featured on the theme song for the B.E.T. series Oh Drama, the lineup includes LeTiecia Harrison, Ardena Clark, LaMyia Good, and Quierra Davis-Martin. Paulette Maxwell, a former member who had earlier sung with Gyrl, was part of the original roster. The youngest, Harrison, grew up in Los Angeles; beyond her vocal work she has modeled for print and runway assignments, with images appearing in Vibe and additional periodicals. Good has acted in Judging Amy, Popular, and The Parkers. Davis-Martin completed three years at the Baltimore School for the Arts before finishing her studies at the Los Angeles School for the Arts on the opposite coast. Clark, born in Los Angeles, trained at the city’s Alexander Hamilton Performing Arts High School.
