Jocelyn Alice

Hailing from Calgary, Jocelyn Alice has built a reputation as a soulful Canadian vocalist and songwriter drawn to electronic R&B-infused pop. She first gained widespread notice at sixteen by finishing second on the televised talent series Popstars. Once the program ended, she began collaborating with Los Angeles producers and gradually established herself as a session singer. Her voice soon appeared on material for multiple television programs and advertisements, among them a chart-successful cover of Friend & Lover’s “Reach Out of the Darkness” placed in a 2013 Target campaign. At the same time she joined bassist Lisa Jacobs to form the soul-leaning duo jocelyn & lisa, which issued the Weary Warrior EP. In 2015 Alice issued her first solo single, “Jackpot,” a track that entered the Top 20 of Canada’s pop charts and later earned platinum certification. She followed it with “Feels Right” in 2016 and “Bound to You” in 2017. The 2018 release Little Devil EP contained her hit single “Still Wondering.”
