Josh Levi

American singer and actor Josh Levi first gained notice as a finalist on the 2013 edition of The X Factor, later taking on a role in the 2022 animated feature Turning Red and performing its signature track “Nobody Like U.” Raised in Houston, Texas, he initially pursued acting and secured his debut part in the television series Friday Night Lights in 2009. He remained with the drama through its first two seasons, then tried out for The X Factor that same year, advancing to the final round before his elimination.

Levi kept performing after the show and released his initial single, “Trying to Find You,” in 2014. A short stint in the boy band Citizen Four followed, after which he went independent in 2018 to concentrate on solo work alongside his studies. Several standalone recordings emerged over the subsequent two years and were gathered on the 2020 project DISC ONE. Atlantic Records signed him the next year and put out his first release for the label, “NASA.”

In 2022 Levi resumed acting by supplying the voice of Aaron Z., one of the members of the made-up group 4*Town, for Turning Red; the same film brought him his initial Billboard Hot 100 entry via the Billie Eilish- and FINNEAS-written “Nobody Like U.” Midway through 2022 he delivered his second mini-album, DISC TWO.
