Julietta

New York-based indie electronic singer/songwriter Julietta first gained notice through melodic, sun-drenched pop tracks, including the 2017 single "Beach Break" and its 2018 follow-up "Runaway," both of which later featured on her introductory EP Smooth Sailing.

Born and raised on the Upper East Side as Julia Libani, she honed her style over time before meeting producer Jack Goodman while visiting Los Angeles. She persuaded the newcomer to accompany her to Nicaragua, where the pair laid down her understated yet catchy opening release, "Beach Break." Issued in February 2017 under the Julietta moniker, the track was succeeded during the ensuing eighteen months by similarly atmospheric cuts such as "Runaway" and "Hard Love," paving the way for her debut EP, Smooth Sailing, in 2018.
