Biography
Although Kilowatthours call Louisville, KY home, the members hail from locations spanning Kansas City, Tennessee, and New York City. Ryan Compton on guitar, Dan Benningfield handling piano, Ben Lord on drums, and Chris Renn contributing guitar and vocals combine to produce an indie style that is both propulsive and tuneful, echoing the approach of other Kentucky artists like Elliott. The band's debut EP All Things Regarding appeared on Temporary Residence Limited in 1999. Lessons In Time Management, a seven-inch release, came out the following year.
