Swedish vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Kim Cesarion crafts passionate, soulful electronic-infused contemporary R&B and pop. Born in Stockholm in 1990, he was raised in a musically inclined, multi-cultural household by a Guadeloupean father who worked as a dancer, singer, and record producer alongside his Swedish-Greek mother, herself a musician. He began violin studies at age four and soon expanded his skills to include piano, drums, and bass before concentrating on vocals during high school under rigorous Russian classical instruction. At home he absorbed a wide array of influences ranging from soca and zouk to dancehall, funk, and contemporary R&B by his heroes Prince, D’Angelo, and Stevie Wonder. At age 20 Cesarion drew the notice of producer and songwriter Arnthor Birgisson, who guided the emerging Swedish artist to a management agreement with Aristotracks. In 2014 he issued his debut album Undressed, which included the title track plus the singles “Brains Out” and “I Love This Life.”
