Biography
Born on June 2, 1990, in Sorsakoski, Leppävirta, Finland, pop singer Kristiina Brask reached the finals of the 2007 Idols season and ultimately placed third behind Ari Koivunen and Anna Abreu. Her performances on the program included covers of Joan Osborne ("One of Us"), Madonna ("Like a Prayer"), Celine Dion ("My Heart Will Go On"), No Doubt ("Don't Speak"), Bon Jovi ("It's My Life"), Juha Tapio ("Ohikiitävää"), the Rasmus ("Liquid"), and Teleks ("Tuulilasin Nurkkaan"). After her elimination, Brask signed with Helsinki Music Company and issued her debut album, Silmät Sydämeeni, in 2007. The record entered the Finnish albums chart at number nine and generated the number 14 single "Nyt Mä Meen" along with two further releases.
