Biography
Born in Denmark on December 29, 1947, Kurt Ravn built a dual career as an actor and singer that extended across multiple decades from its start in the late 1970s. The year 1978 brought his first major exposure when he joined the cast of the Danish television series Matador, a production that continued for several years. He also stepped onto the big screen that year in Vinterbørn, an appearance that opened the door to many additional film roles in the time that followed. On the music side, 1978 likewise marked his recording debut with the album Det Er Her, Det Er Nu, after which a lengthy series of further albums appeared. In 2009 he scored a major success with Jeg Gi'r Dig Min Morgen, a release that entered the Top Five of the Danish charts.
