Biography
Drawing members from Lynch Mob, King's X, and Korn, the rock powerhouse KXM crafts a blues-infused strain of hard-driving rock marked by progressive exploratory impulses.
The group coalesced in 2013 when vocalist and bassist dUg Pinnick of King's X joined forces with guitarist George Lynch of Lynch Mob and Dokken plus drummer Ray Luzier, the percussion powerhouse from Korn. Extensive jam sessions shaped the material for their self-titled debut, which surfaced in 2014 on Rat Pak Records and balanced recognizable touches for followers of the players' main outfits with fresh sonic directions. Scatterbrain appeared in 2017 with a comparable method and reached the Billboard Top 100, as did Circle of Dolls two years later after the trio had moved to Frontiers Records.
