Lisa Del Bo, a Belgian pop vocalist born Reinhilde Goossenswas on July 9, 1961, in Bilzen, achieved her widest notice through an appearance at the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest, performing the song "Liefde Is Een Kaartspel." She finished in 16th place while representing Belgium, yet maintained a solid standing in pop music, above all in the Flanders region of her native land and across Germany. After issuing her debut single, "Maar Nu, Wat Doe Ik Zonder Jou (Madame)," in 1991, Del Bo anchored Belgian and Flemish pop for the next decade and a half with nearly 20 hit singles. The album Best of the Fifties appeared in 2001, succeeded the following year by the compilation Wo Sind Die Zeiten: Das Beste. In 2008 she returned with the full-length Dansen, Plezier Voor Twee.
