Biography
A singer and songwriter based in Nashville whose velvety delivery and timeless phrasing drew early attention across Music City during the closing years of the 2010s, Logan Ledger evoked the legacies of George Jones and Webb Pierce. His profile rose sharply once T-Bone Burnett took him under his wing, securing a contract with Rounder Records that yielded a self-titled album in 2020 and the follow-up Golden State three years later.
Born and raised in California, Ledger cultivated an early affinity for bluegrass, old-time, and honky-tonk traditions. Following a short-lived membership in a Bay Area bluegrass group after college, he relocated to Nashville, where he refined his material and performed regularly at local clubs. Word spread quickly among industry circles, leading to a partnership with the veteran producer T-Bone Burnett, who placed him on the Electro Magnetic roster and arranged the Rounder deal. Those sessions first surfaced publicly in early 2019 via the paired singles “Starlight” and “Imagining Raindrops.”
Ledger turned to Shooter Jennings to helm 2023’s Golden State, enlisting Nick Bockrath and Jamie Douglass among the players, while Erin Rae contributed a guest vocal on “Some Misty Morning.”
