Biography
In the early 2000s Molly Jenson started building recognition as a singer and songwriter through performances at intimate California spots, where her sparkling, heartfelt material echoed the style of Sheryl Crow and Aimee Mann. Working with producer Greg Laswell, himself an established singer and songwriter who helped shape the lyrics of her first record, she finished Maybe Tomorrow during spring 2005. A combination of nonstop live appearances, growing attention to her MySpace page, and a guest spot alongside Switchfoot frontman Tim Foreman on the latter’s solo EP allowed her to cultivate a substantial following that was firmly in place by 2008. One year later she joined the roster of the recently launched Bully! Pulpit Records.
