Mosa Wild is an English indie group whose introspective, melody-focused style draws parallels to bands such as the National and the Maccabees. Their breakthrough came with the viral spread of the richly textured 2016 track "Smoke," which led to a contract with Glassnote and the subsequent release of the band's 2019 EP Talking in Circles.

The group originated in Ashford, Kent, where singer/guitarist Jim Rubaduka, guitarist Alex Stevens, bassist Edwin Ireland, and drummer Charlie Campbell came together. Their first release, "Smoke," connected with listeners as a gradually intensifying track that accumulated millions of streams within its initial twelve months. This rapid momentum allowed the four-piece to perform at prominent British locations and events including Reading and Leeds, all before inking an agreement with the U.S.-based Glassnote Records, prompted entirely by that opening single. In 2019, they followed up with "Night," which featured on Talking in Circles, their introductory EP issued later in the same year. Having completed a support run with Maggie Rogers, Mosa Wild headed back into the recording studio, surfacing at the start of 2021 via the song "Cry Baby."
