Biography
Myron Elkins brings a powerful Midwestern voice to country and Americana, shaping a bold presence grounded in working-class heartland rock traditions. Raised in Otsego, a modest Michigan community, he pursued welding training until securing second place at a regional battle of the bands redirected his path entirely. That persistent approach, shaped by country-adjacent figures such as Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson, John Mellencamp, and Chris Stapleton, drew the notice of Nashville producer Dave Cobb, who promptly signed him to the Elektra subsidiary Low Country Sound. Elkins issued his debut album, Factories, Farms & Amphetamines, in 2023.
