NEIL FRANCES

Neil Frances form an alternative pop duo rooted in Los Angeles, made up of Australia-born Jordan Feller and Southern California native Marc Gilfry. Their sound merges infectious hooks and sunny atmospheres into effervescent, rhythm-focused electronic pop. The pair first gained notice via their version of Stardust's "Music Sounds Better with You," issuing two EPs ahead of their debut full-length, There Is No Neil Frances, which arrived in 2022, followed by It's All a Bit Fuzzy the next year.

Their opening release came as a 2017 cover of Stardust's "Music Sounds Better with You," which steadily built hundreds of millions of streams across online platforms. The Nettwerk-issued debut EP Took a While appeared in 2018. Live dates with kindred acts such as Jungle, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and Poolside paved the way for the second EP, Stay Strong Play Long, in 2021. A run of singles followed later that year, among them the streaming successes "It's Like a Dream" and "Finding Rhythm," both included on the cheekily titled There Is No Neil Frances in 2022. It's All a Bit Fuzzy, featuring work alongside DRAMA, St. Panther, and Dreamcastmoe, surfaced in 2023. Cinthie, Poolside, and Stardust's Alan Braxe supplied contributions to It's All a Bit Fuzzy (Remixes) in 2024.
