Biography
In 2008 the German metal outfit nullDB assembled in Würzburg, fusing nu metal and hard rock. After aligning with EMI Publishing, the group issued its debut LP, Im Auge des Sturms, in 2009. A subsequent agreement with the esteemed metal label AFM produced the blistering 2012 follow-up Endzeit, a concept album addressing the Mayan apocalypse foretold for that year. Fortunately, humanity survived, allowing the band to thrive in the European metal scene, where it performed at the Wacken Open Air festival and toured alongside Betontod, Doro Pesch, and Alice Cooper. Following a pact with Sony, nullDB enlisted producer Mat Sinner to create its third album, 2017’s Geboren in Ketten.
