Olivia Bartley, the Australian singer/songwriter recognized for her commanding stage presence and skillful guitar playing, operates under the Olympia name. Her work intertwines sophisticated melodies with personal lyrics, securing both critical notice and radio exposure across her home country. The 2016 debut album Self Talk entered the Top 30 of the Australian albums chart, after which the second full-length Flamingo appeared in 2019. Bartley resurfaced in 2024 with the EP Love for One and the single "White Ferrari".

Melbourne-based singer/songwriter Olivia Bartley launched Olympia in 2011, taking cues from musicians such as Stina Nordenstam and Neil Young as well as non-musical sources such as Pele and Carl Sagan. She employs the moniker for solo appearances while also assembling a band with a revolving lineup that usually includes Peter Luscombe and Pat Bourke. As Olympia, Bartley has shared stages with Paul Dempsey, City and Colour, and Lamb, and she issued a self-titled EP in 2013. EMI signed her in 2015, at which point she released the single "Honey" and commenced work on a full-length with producer Burke Reid. Self Talk arrived in 2016, reaching number 26 on the ARIA chart and earning Olympia a nomination for Breakthrough Artist at the 2016 ARIA Awards plus a nomination for the Australian Music Prize.

"Star City," the first single from Olympia's second album, appeared in 2018. Flamingo, again produced by Reid, was released in 2019 and ranked at number 100 on the ARIA chart. In May of 2024, Olympia released the EP Love for One on the artist's Reach Around Records. The EP was recorded in London while Bartley was grieving the death of her father. A single titled "White Ferrari" appeared the following October.
